World saw blade leaders, MPS Sägen has released a trio of German-engineered professional-grade reciprocating sabre saw blades. These tungsten carbide MPS 4177, 4178 and 4096 blades are ready to cut through whatever is needed, one step at a time. 

The smaller yet still effective MPS 4177 and 4178 blades are engineered to deliver clean, aggressive cuts through abrasive building materials from plastic to foam, PVC, fibre cement, plasterboard and more. Their tungsten carbide tooth blade technology ensures an extended lifespan versus standard bi-metal or carbon steel blades.

Designed to eliminate bending and maintain a straight, controlled cutting path, the heavy-duty MPS 4178 has a 1.25 mm thick and 300 mm long body with a 280 mm cutting length. A coarse three teeth per inch at a 9.5 mm tooth pitch makes MPS 4178 ready to penetrate and rapidly remove material from any surfaces up to 250 mm thick.

If you don’t need all that length, the slightly smaller, 230 mm long 210 mm cutting length MPS 4177 reciprocating sabre saw blade shares its bigger sibling’s 1.25 mm blade thickness and 3 teeth per inch. But with a slightly smaller 8.5 mm tooth pitch, it is ideal to cut material thicknesses of 175 mm or less.

For the heavy hitters, the carbide-tipped chrome vanadium alloy bodied MPS 4096 is built to demolish. Longer at 300 mm with 280 mm cutting length, the 50 mm extra wide MPS 4096 also has and aggressive, wide spaced two teeth per inch at a 12.7 mm pitch. Ideal for deep, straight cuts through large masonry without blade bending or vibration.
