Another busy weekend on multiple racing fronts

Team Tork Craft enjoyed another broad and varied racing weekend with success across the board at three very different events and venues. The team was busy with regional motocross and off road racing on tera firma, while its new venture into rubber duck racing got off to a great start too.

“Team Tork Craft and Ride to Race had another entertaining weekend, to say the least,” team coordinator Tony Riddell explains. “Starting with the Teza Inland Motocross, we had a brilliant High School 125 cc 1-3 with Deruk van Aswegen taking the win on his 125cc Blu Cru Yamaha and Team Tork Craft’s similarly mounted Brandon van Wyk joining him on the podium.

“Luke Grundy made it three podiums with a fine second for the day in 450cc MX1 on his Team Tork Craft Husqvarna. Rounding off the two-wheel action, young Nathan Zovitzkey rode to fifth in the 65cc class at the 424 off road race aboard his Team Tork Craft Yamaha as he too, continues to improve by the outing.

“Then, as they say, for something completely different, Team Tork Craft RTR made its nautical debut at the Pencil Duck Nationals at Hartbeespoort Dam. Katy-Ann Marais and Carly Saaijman ended fifth in the long haul and sixth on the circuit races out of fourteen boats in the class. Well done to everyone on another great weekend at a lot of very different races!”
