Damien Purificati continued to dominate the SunBet ZX10 Masters motorcycles supported by Tork Craft tools with another two dominant race victories at Zwartkops’ third round National Extreme Festival on Saturday.

Championship leader, class B man Damien Purificati put his Amalgam Welding ZX10 on pole position by four hundreths of a second from top class A rider, Keith Agliotti’s TNB Ridgeway machine. Hein McMahon’s K9 Law Enforcement XPO bike sat alongside them on the front row in third, ahead of Class C leader James Barson’s Proproof bike next to Trevor Westman and AD van Dalen on row 2.

Dirk Stols, Henk Kruger, and Reginald Seale filled row 3 ahead of Pieter Delport, Byron Rothquel, and Robert Ferreira, Johan Le Roux, Renatus van Niekerk and Tyron Piper. Ian Harwood, Stephen Galgoczy, Abrie Marais, Joao Cruz, Robert Ferreira, Nico Zietsman, Brad Zeeman, and Alfie Swanepoel rounded off the 21-bike grid.

Damion Purificati once again made short work of the opening heat as he sped off to another victory, four seconds clear of Hein McMahon. James Barson and Trevor Westman followed, while Henk Kruger also put one over Keith Agliotti for fifth ahead of 

AD van Dalen, Pieter Delport, Reginald Seale, Renatus van Niekerk and Byron Rothquel in tenth. 

Like Agliotti, Dirk Stols also slipped back, but he held Johan le Roux off with Robert Ferreira, Abrie Marais, Stephen Galgoczy, Tyron Piper, Ian Harwood, Nico Zietsman, Alfie Swanepoel and Bradley Zeeman in hot pursuit.

Race 2 was a carbon copy up front as Purificati went on to make it five wins in six starts over Hein McMahon, James Barson and Trevor Westman. There was a shake-up behind them however as Pieter and AD moved up to fifth and sixth ahead of Johan le Roux, Reginald Seale, Byron Rothquel and Renatus van Niekerk in tenth.

Dirk Stols followed from Robert Ferreira, Henk Kruger and Abrie Marais, Stephen Galgoczy, Tyron Piper, Nico Zietsman and Ian Harwood after Keith Agliotti and Alfie Swanepoel stopped and Bradley Zeeman did not start. Class B winner Purificati took the day from top class A man McMahon, Westman, Delport and van Dalen, while James Barson won class C.
