De Oliveira raring to go at iDube

Eight-year old Milnerton Primary School kid Joaquin De Oliveira is all set and raring to go on his first trip to the demanding iDube racetrack as he heads to Kwa-Zulu Natal for the third round of the South African Micro Max Karting Championship Saturday 8 July.

“I am so excited for the National as it will be my first time on the Idube track,” Joaquin admitted. The iDube is a favourite amongst South African karters, situated on the side of a steep KZN Midlands hill, the undulating and twisty track brings the best out of kart and driver.

“I knows it’s not going to be easy, but I’m ready for the challenge - they tell me it’s the coolest track so I can’t wait! “I would also like to thank AMV Group for making it possible to race and to my mom and dad for all their effort to help me grow in the sport I love.” Follow the iDube SA National Karting races on live streaming through www.kart.co.za all day from around 10 am 8 July.
