Summarize

The Aldo Scribante Racetrack is the home of the Algoa MotorSport Club. Aldo hosted its first race on 30 November 1975 and today over 40 years down the line, local, national and international racers still chase the limit at Port Elizabeth’s own race circuit

Far more than just a competitor’s playground, Aldo Scribante offers fans and spectators an action spectacle thanks to top facilities including  banks and grandstands catering for spectators. The circuit also caters for all with events,  functions, corporate and test days, race meetings and many other opportunities.

Aldo Scribante has also moulded the careers of several local national champions — Michael Stephen, Simon Moss, Daniel Rowe and Chassen Bright among the current crop, let alone legends the likes of Michael Briggs, Terry Moss and Tschops Sipuka.

Situated in the Coega IDZ just off the N2 in Markman, Port Elizabeth, the Aldo Scribante Racetrack also plays  home circuit to South Africa’s motoring hub with General Motors, Ford, Volkswagen, Audi, Bridgestone, Firestone, Good Year and Continental all regularly utilising the track for events, testing and evaluation.
