Three more years for racing & experiential collaboration

Red-Lined Motorsport Adventure and the Penta Motor Group have renewed their multi-year racing and experiential collaboration for a further three years. Based around Penta Group directors Philip Botha and Roelof Janse van Vuren’s racing exploits and Dakar ambitions, which has itself proven a fairytale story, the deal stretches far deeper into both companies’ ethos.

Botha and van Vuren’s incredible and record-breaking achievement of finishing every single race they have started in their Red-Lined VK50 and 56 racers in the two years since their debut to commence the Penta Red-Lined partnership, is just the cream on the cake. Away from the rally raid stages, the companies collaborate on a broad scale as Red-Lined Dakar demonstrations and passenger rides work as the basis of Penta’s highly successful regular customer experience days. 

There, guests are treated to a wild spin in the latest Red-Lined Dakar race cars as part of ‘Penta Experience’ Customer Days. They also have the chance to drive and experience several vehicles across different brands within the Group’s broad and diverse new car portfolio. The Penta Red-Lined co-operation of course also extends to the race team where Philip Botha and Roelof Janse van Vuren will continue to prepare to realise their Dakar dream as part of the regular Penta Red-Lined South African National Rally Raid Championship team. Their record-breaking efforts culminated in a career-best second place in the extremely competitive T1 class in the most recent Upington 1000 Desert Race.

Now two years into their alliance, the Penta Group and Red-Lined Motorsport have extended their partnership for another three years. The refreshed, broad-based deal covers everything from more epic Penta customer days to the culmination of that collective Dakar dream. “The Penta Group operates within the motor industry where we predominantly sell motorcars,” Philip Botha Explained. “Our collaboration with Red-Lined Motorsport has proven a great strategic fit to our Penta Experience customer relationship program.

“It’s all part of sharing our work hard and play hard ethos, where business meets pleasure to solidify our existing customer relationships as well as build new alliances. “We treat our clients to a ‘ticket you can’t buy’ experience that they will never forget. “All of this is also tied directly into our motor industry, so we are sharing something far greater than just another rugby, cricket or golf outing which has little to do with what we’re all about. “This collaboration has proven a natural fit, it’s been a great success and now we look forward to continuing our mutually beneficial racing and activation relationships with Red-Lined Motorsport.”
