Feeler Coetzerdam 300 Puts TreasuryONE Duo to the Test

TreasuryONE Racing's Hennie de Klerk and Adriaan Roets had a troubled, yet effective run in the Inland Off Road Championship Feeler Coetzerdam 300 in the Northwest on Saturday. The race proved to be another positive step in their intensive Dakar 2023 preparation as the men and the car proved quick, while the service crew was put to the test in the field as they rapidly repaired the TreasuryONE Amarok to still see the lads home in the top ten.

“That was a very good weekend for us from a Dakar preparation point of view,” Hennie de Klerk admitted. “We were satisfied with our pace to come home fourth in the time trial and then early on in the race versus all the latest FIA T1+ cars competing in the Feeler Coetzerdam 300. “Then we had a steering arm failure, which tested the team in the field. “They sorted the issue pronto and we were quickly back in the race and able to bring it home ninth.

“To finish my third Dakar is the our main objective, so it is important to have the whole team primed and ready for whatever we may carry into the service park, so that’s another important test passed as we prepare forward.

“We are also looking forward to finally driving our new TreasuryONE WCT T1+ Hilux, which will enable us to compete on even footing with whatever our rivals race, so we can’t wait for that. “It won’t be too long now, but in the mean time we will be back in action in our Coyote V8-powered Amarok at Mareetsane in a few weeks time.”
