Charl Michael and Kyle Visser first competed in Cadet karts before stepping up to the primary school 60cc karting classes. Regular winner in both the Cape and national championships Charl Michael is a Maxterino and Mini Rok, as well as Junior and multiple Senior Max champion. That success continued alongside a step up to Polo Cup, where he was Rookie champion in 2022 and overall champion in 2023.
Charl won several races on his way to becoming top rookie in his prize SATC SupaCup drive in 2024 before concentrating on GT3 and Endurance racing, where he has since won regularly and holds the outright lap records at both Zwartkops and Kyalami. Charl Michael also took another Senior Max karting title in 2025.
Kyle started racing at just five years old and won Western Province under-8 Cadet and Maxterino kart champion before stepping up to Junior and Senior Max. He stepped up to win the inaugural Volkswagen Rookie Cup in a double championship year for the Vissers in 2023, before winning in Polo Cup en route to becoming best rookie in '24.
