“Fairleigh Castle was my fourth crack at the World Vets at a track where I enjoyed great success in my motocross heyday, “Ryan explains. “So to roll back the years for a great result in the Over 50s was a really special experience this weekend. I have to thank Richard Wood and the Holeshot Motorhomes crew for a splendid Yamaha YZ250. I never even had the opportunity to open my Tork Craft Track box to fettle the bike all weekend!”

Ryan’s weekend started with sixth in the opening heat before a weekend best fourth in the second moto, then an eighth and a sixth in the following heats. “That put me on 128 points and fourth overall for the weekend to prove that solid consistency always pays off in the end!” The Fairleigh Castle weekend attracted over 500 top motocross riders from around the world to make it the biggest World Vets Motocross weekend yet.
