Keegan, Jason head to East London

Brothers Keegan and Jason Campos head to the glorious East London Grand Prix Circuit sitting third and seventh in the SA National Falken Polo Cup championship, each book-ending a frantic chase for that third place Keegan currently sits in. Both brothers vow to progress their championship lots in the sixth round races, leaving no holds barred.

Keegan has quietly piled on the points since a difficult opening round at the previous beachside encounter at Port Shepstone’s Dezzi Raceway in March to put his Campos Transport Polo squarely into that title third. “My season has improved race by race,” Keegan explained. “We're on top of the car now and after ending third in almost every session last time at Zwartkops, the mission is to improve on that, but with Tasmin and Iain Pepper in our corner, we are ready! “There are a few serious rivals around though, so I’m taking nothing for granted."

Jason’s season started well but his progress was thwarted by a race 1 crash that ended his weekend in Cape Town that also needed his Turn 1 Insurance Polo to be re-shelled. “Killarney set us back and it’s taken a bit of time since to properly sort the new chassis, but we are getting there and the last race was good.” Jason admitted. “Now we head to the beach track on the Border, where I hope to get my title challenge squarely back on track over a weekend that is always great — can’t wait!"
