Keegan, Jason star at Zwartkops

Brothers Keegan and Jason Campos enjoyed a great day’s racing at Zwartkops’ fifth round SA National Falken Polo Cup races to both end up in the top five overall for the day as they reignited their championship challenges.

Keegan qualified third before slipping to fifth in Superpole and bouncing back to third in both races and third overall to move from fifth to third in the championship chase aboard his Campos Transport Polo. “The season is getting better and better,” a delighted Keegan admitted. “The car was good today and it was all about third places — third in quali, third each heat, third overall and now third in the championship - now we just need to move up two like that and we'll be where we need to be!

Jason qualified ninth in his Turn 1 Insurance Polo before storming to fifth in race 1 and seventh in the second for fifth overall and while he remains seventh on the championship table, Jason is now far closer to the three drivers ahead of him in the points chase. “That was a better weekend!” Jason admitted. “The car came to me — qualifying wasn't that good, but I fought hard in both races and was rewarded by great results. “We are back on track — it's onward and upward from here!"

The Campos brothers now travel to East London for round 6 of the Falken Polo Cup on 31 August.
