South Africa's Jonathan Aberdein heads to another classic racetrack ready to keep on delivering when the FIA European Formula 3 championship heads to the Great British Silverstone for its sixth round 17-18 August. Aberdein enjoyed plausibly his best weekend in the series at Spa Francorchamps last time out with a couple of rookie podiums and the fastest lap of the second race and he intends nothing less than upping that ante in England next weekend.

“Spa Francorchamps was a pretty positive weekend for us and I plan to build on that at Silverstone,” Capetonian Jonathan, whose Spa weekend saw him up to seventh in the Rookie championship, pointed out. “Like Spa, Silverstone is another of the great racetracks in the world, so I can’t wait to get out there — it's a challenging track with daunting corners, long straights and lots of chances to overtake so we should enjoy three more great races — bring it on!”

Silverstone’s Euro F3 action starts with free practice and qualifying for the first race Friday morning, before the second race Saturday morning and then qualifying for Sunday’s second and third 35-minute races on Saturday afternoon.
